Olympic Peninsula Loop Tour
Want to see the Olympic Peninsula, but only have a day? This tour hits the must see areas of the entire Olympic Peninsula. From Ruby Beach and Lake Quinault to Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, the Hood Canal, this tour is for those who want to see it all. While limited in hiking, this tour makes up for it by allowing you to experience all the ecosystems of the Olympic Peninsula in one day.
Starting the day by catching a sunrise on the Hood Canal, you get the opportunity to see the Olympic Peninsula in a way few people have. With a guided tour full of information and quirky facts, you might just be an expert after this tour. To start we head north, stopping at area state parks and viewpoints, before we reach the cities of Sequim and Port Angeles. In Sequim we take a detour to see Dungeness Spit on the Strait of Juan de Fuca before heading up for a quick stop at Hurricane Ridge. We then jet down to Lake Crescent. After quickly stopping on the shores of the lake, we continue to drive along the gorgeous Highway 101 to Ruby Beach, where, if our timing is right, we catch an amazing sunset over the Pacific Ocean. If time allows, additional stops may be made at Marymere Falls.
This is a car tour, with only short stops for pictures and food, but is a favorite. Nothing can describe knowing, as we return to Olympia, that you saw some of the best that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.
