The 5: Best Olympic Peninsula Views of the City of Seattle

P5134127 (Large)

The city of Seattle may just be one of the most beautiful cities in North America. With views of mountains, orca whales in the Puget Sound and clean, refreshing air, the Emerald City is in a class of its own. While rumors of dark, dreary days full of rain and cloud keep throngs of tourists away, the most populated city in the State of Washington actually gets less rain than Houston, Texas and New York City. While we do have cloudy days more often than other cities, we still love it. When Seattle is cloudy, it is a pretty city, but when Seattle has a sunny day, locals agree that it is heaven on earth.

While Seattle may be amazing to experience in the sunny weather, one truly gains appreciation for the town by looking down on it from far away. While seeing the city of Seattle from the Space Needle or Columbia Tower can be awesome, it isn’t as impressive as seeing the entire Puget Sound from the top of a trail on the Olympic Peninsula. That is why we have gathered the 5 best views of Seattle from hikes across the region.
