The city of Seattle may just be one of the most beautiful cities in North America. With views of mountains, orca whales in the Puget Sound and clean, refreshing air, the Emerald City is in a class of its own. While rumors of dark, dreary days full of rain and cloud keep throngs of tourists away, the most populated city in the State of Washington actually gets less rain than Houston, Texas and New York City. While we do have cloudy days more often than other cities, we still love it. When Seattle is cloudy, it is a pretty city, but when Seattle has a sunny day, locals agree that it is heaven on earth.
