Great news, fellow lovers of Olympic National Park!
The Seattle NBC affiliate KING 5 held their annual Best Northwest Escapes and the the news was great for the wet, forgotten Olympic Peninsula. For the first time in the contest’s history, Olympic National Park was named the State’s most popular National Park. Unseating Mount Rainier, Olympic was finally recognized the the sheer beauty f the region. This is entirely well-deserved for Olympic, and while it is true that it is the 5th most visited National Park in America, locals preferred the volcano of Rainier over the rainforest, rivers, mountains and beaches of Olympic.
We here at Exotic Hikes are proud of all of you who voted for Olympic National Park. Because of you, more people are going to be able to take a trip into nature and explore the beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. Children will discover the joys of the rainforest, couples will fall in love on the watching a sunset between sea stacks on the rugged beaches and everyone will enjoy the cleanest air, the greatest views and the most beautiful National Park in the world.
Congratulations Olympic National Park, you have always been the best to us.
