National Parks are Free this Weekend!

National Parks are Free this Weekend!

To Honor Veterans on this Armistice Day, Remembrance Day or Veterans Day (all of which are November 11th), the United States Government is waving the entrance fees to all of America’s National Monuments and National Parks.

What better way to express your thanks to those men and women who served this nation than by exploring the land they protected! With numerous miles of trails, scenic views and visitor centers, a trip to the National Parks is exactly what you need! Sure, the weather might not be fantastic this weekend in the Pacific Northwest, but that is the best time to see the snow at Mount Rainier, the deep greens of the Olympic National Park and the fantastic viewpoints of the North Cascades.

Plan your trip, pack up your car and get out this weekend. Experience the greatness of America’s Natural and Historical Beauty! Take advantage of the parks being open and free, because you never know when they are going to be closed again..
