Lake of the Angels Trail Guide: Olympic National Park

Because we love hiking and we want you all to get outdoors, we felt we needed to share something awesome. We give you the Lake of the Angels in the Olympic National Park.

Tucked in the remote hills of the Olympic Mountains, in the shadow of Mount Skokomish, Lake of the Angels is nearly 5,000 feet above the Hamma Hamma River, and sits against the prettiest mountain backdrop in the Olympic National Park. With smoothed-out boulders from glacial activity, rugged peaks, beautiful waterfalls and an abundant mountain goat and marmot population, this destination is going to be the next big thing for hikers in the State of Washington.

I know the small pond before LOA. That marks the turn off for Mt Stone. Is that Pond of False Prophets along the trail? I don’t remember seeing it.
