USA Today is currently holding their annual 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards to see which trail is the best hike in the National Park Service.
Fans of Olympic National Park now have a way to tell the rest of the country which area of America is really the best for hiking. While Olympic National Park has 611 miles of trails, the “experts” hired by USA Today picked their 20 favorite hikes. They picked a lot of good trails, with the only PNW trail being the Hoh River Trail.
The entire list of parks can be seen here, but the only important one, at least for lovers of Olympic National Park, is the Hoh River Trail. You can vote each and every day to March 30th, 2015. Olympic National Park needs some love nationally, as we are often left out of Best Park lists and even fell to the 6th most visited National Park in America.
If you love Olympic National Park, the Pacific Northwest, or beauty of the rainforest, I am asking you to please share this message with your friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, crushes, exes, strangers and politicians.
UPDATE- The voting is close, with the Hoh coming in a second.
