FIVE REASONS HIKING IN WASHINGTON IS BETTER THAN COLORADO

The Super Bowl is in just a few days and we here at Exotic Hikes have been receiving quite a bit of mail from loyal Denver area hikers, bragging about their team and their mountains. Good for you, you have lots of mountains over 14,000 feet; 53 in fact.

Congrats on that.

While the Exotic Hikes Staff enjoy climbing tall mountains as much as the next crazy person, We can’t help but love the view from our small mountains. Colorado is gorgeous and we look at our time hiking there fondly. However, being able to hike in a rainforest before standing on the tip of a craggy summit, overlooking the Puget Sound, Salish Sea or Pacific Ocean is priceless. Colorado, you can keep your mountains, for Washington offers better all-around hiking.
