Don’t Let the Gates Stop You: Hiking the Olympic National Park’s

Welcome to yellowstone, the first National Park

The Original National Park: Yellowstone

BEFORE YOU READ: Washington State Parks are still OPEN!!! Please support them!

The United States Government has shutdown, forcing the closure of America’s National Parks. From the Everglades to Yosemite, to Denali and Yellowstone, our National Treasures have been taken from us, and Nicolas Cage isn’t going to save us. No matter what your politics are, whether you support the Republicans, the Democrats, the Tea Partiers or The Rent is Too Damn High Party, we are all in this together. Our National Parks, which were created for the “For the Benefit and Enjoyment of all People” have been taken from us, gated up and shut down. While, I assume, many Americans could not care less about nature in this country, this closure will mean death to many struggling, small businesses in communities around neighboring the National Parks. That is why we feel it is important to get you out into nature, specifically the Olympic National Park and Olympic Peninsula.

The United States Government has shut down the National Parks, but we here at Exotic Hikes want you to know there are still some pretty amazing places in and around the park you can go.

Check out our list, pick up our guidebook and get out to hiking!
