  3. Kaitlyn says:

The Vance Creek bridge is now very hard to access. There are “No Trespassing” signs everywhere, they’ve downed trees to make the trail inaccessible. I’ve heard that they even will station some form of security up there during the warmer months, and he’s been known to issue tickets to those trespassing. Such a sad situation, but people keep getting hurt up there and the property owner finally had enough. Just a note to people who may want to go there!

  4. Marva Lang says:

I have a question, we would love to do some of these day hikes, however I have a border collie that I take almost everywhere with me. Are dogs on leashes allowed on these trails? As much as I would love to do these hikes, I would prefer places where the dog is welcome too.

    • ExoticHikes says:

The easy rule for hiking with dogs is this: If the trail is in a National Park, don’t bring your dog. If it is a National Forest or State Park, feel free to hike with your pooch.
