8 Giant Trees on the Olympic Peninsula

What lives in the Olympic Peninsula Rainforest

When one mentions the Olympic National Park, the brain conjures up images of giant, moss-covered trees along picturesque rivers and streams. Luckily, you are correct in picturing that image, as the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic National Park have some of the largest trees in the world. Located in the Valley of Rainforest Giants (The Hoh, Quinault and Queets River Basins), some of the tallest and widest trees on the planet have stood for hundreds of years.

While the list below does not currently have exact locations, we will be working in the future to provide you exact locations to these giants. If you have locations of any of the trees, please use the comment section to help us out!

Finally, the trees we have pictures of are super easy to get to and directions will be located along with their details. Have fun finding these trees!
