Isolated fom cell phone service and kles from the nearest town, conversations are sure to flow as much as the water next to the trail. Romantic overlooks of waterfalls are provided for awe-inspiring views and opportunities for hugging and kissing. This hike is a favorite of many, but is rarely crowded in the off season.

Why: With a few miles of uninterrupted beach along the rugged and beautiful coastline of the Olympic National Park, Second Beach along LaPush is a great place to take that special someone. From hours of watching waves crash against sea-stacks, to looking for shells, agates and playing in tidal-pools full of sea life, this is an ideal place to be to spend time together. The trail is short enough that any beginning hiker can reach the beach, and the region is isolated enough to sneak in numerous kisses without having anyone watch.
